About Us
GC Lymberpa SA is Greece’s only IATA and NVOCC agent licensed by the Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) to handle food cargo, including fresh fish, dairy products, fruit, and other perishable goods.
As the successor to Giovani Sofianopoulos, GC Lymberpa SA continues the legacy of Greece’s first and oldest transport company, originally established in 1859. The business initially specialised in maritime transportation and later expanded into air freight following the development of commercial aviation. In 1963, it became the first IATA-accredited agent in Greece.
